Sausage Making Demonstration and Competition (age 16 and under)
Fancy designing your very own extraordinary sausages and having them made to your own special recipe? Our local award-winning Extraordinary Sausage Company will do just that for the winner of this competition!
We challenge you to think up an exciting and tasty recipe for a meat-based sausage. Absolutely anything goes! Click here for further details and an entry form. Deadline for entries is Monday 21st May 2018. Forms are also available from Rhubarb lime deli, Kippen Primary School and Skinners butchers.
2017 competition Thanks to all the children who took part in the 2017 sausage recipe competition including winner Lily Bell (9) for her coriander, chilli and lime sausage which she called Thai Twist, Caroline Schmautz (11) who came second for her smoked pork with apple and cardamom sausage and Jenny Gardner (12) who came third for her pineapple and pork sausage. The judges also highly commended William )'Farrell (9) for his tomato, chilli and onion beef sausage and Ailsa Adamson (10) for her roasted pepper, tomato and garlic sausage.
